To create startups from scratch, invest in them, and help them grow, Bengaluru-based boutique investment advising firm CaHa Capital has established a venture studio focused on climate tech and climate financing called VAIA Climate Studio. In addition, having previously concluded a tiny first round, VAIA Climate Studio is seeking to raise a maiden fund of $25 Mn from notable investors and family offices, among others.
By incubating its concepts and investing in its seed rounds with typical ticket sizes of $250K–$500K, the venture studio hopes to launch at least four firms focusing on the environment in FY24. Along with its two already-existing verticals, the boutique investment firm, and ESG advisory, CaHa Capital has developed a third fund-model business called the climate studio.
