Extreme climate change challenges in South Asia calls for regional cooperation.
The region that houses 1/5th of the world population will be prone to extreme climate vulnerabilities leading to challenges in food and water security, urbanization, and disaster management, making it imperative for policy deliberations at the regional level.
Localized solutions are a must to tackle climate change challenges
While climate change is a global crisis, its impact is localized. This is the argument by Dr. Priyadarshini Karve, Convenor INECC to the Climatica team on the sidelines of the CPSA event, for a localized bottom-up approach to building climate adaptation and climate resilience.
