The World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED) is one of Europe’s largest annual conferences dedicated to sustainable energy production and use, covering energy efficiency and renewable energy sources for buildings, industry, and transport. Since 1992, WSED has been a platform for experts and decision-makers worldwide to present the latest technology trends, outstanding examples, and European strategies, offering opportunities to establish new partnerships. The conference raises awareness of green energy and energy efficiency, attracting between 900 and 1,000 participants from over 55 countries each year. In parallel, the Energiesparmesse, an exhibition and trade show dedicated to renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, is held, attracting around 100,000 visitors and approximately 1,000 exhibiting companies. WSED 2025 will continue this tradition, focusing on innovative solutions and strategies to accelerate the energy transition and achieve climate goals
