Edinburgh University and Indian Consulate create a Hindi climate change course

The University of Edinburgh’s Climate Change Institute and the Consulate General of India in Edinburgh, Scotland, have launched their first Hindi open-access course.

Climate Solutions is accessible in English, Arabic, and Hindi for Egypt, the UAE, India, and the UK. The institution stated award-winning climate change specialists, including ECCI Executive Director Professor Dave Reay, planned and delivered it. This month’s Climate Remedies: India (Hindi) course examines climate change’s science, effects, and remedies for millions of Hindi-speaking students and educators in India and around the world.

The university stated skilled translators helped curate the new Hindi course with the government of India. Edinburgh University’s Department of Social Responsibility and Sustainability and the Royal Scottish Geographical Society developed these free online climate courses. Senegal, Malawi, Ecuador, and Mexico will soon have Climate Solutions courses.
