Andaz Hotel collaborates with Boon to offer a sustainable drinking experience

Boon, a global water-tech firm with IoT capabilities, will phase out single-use plastic water bottles and drastically reduce the carbon footprint of hotel rooms and grounds at Andaz, Delhi, a luxury lifestyle hotel by Hyatt. Boon and Andaz Delhi, AeroCity, a 5-Star luxury lifestyle hotel, will work together to improve the overall guest experience while minimizing its carbon footprint.

In the past, Andaz Delhi has followed a wide range of green guidelines. In addition, they have the Leeds Gold Level Certification for responsible electricity use. The Andaz Delhi is expected to demonstrate an annual reduction of 83,277 kg of plastic trash over the next five years. Additionally, there have been cuts of 249,831 kilograms of CO2 emissions and 1474.7 barrels of oil.

Boon specializes in the circular economics of glass water idea and monitoring water quality and hydration delivery. Purified drinking water is distributed in recyclable glass bottles thanks to artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Boon (formerly Swajal) has been hard at work creating strategic alliances with numerous organizations to introduce their intelligent hydration technology, WaterCube, which improves drinking water quality. It recently teamed with Travel Food Services (TFS) to install an advanced AI-based intelligent hydration system at airport lounges and Fairmont Jaipur to reduce plastic waste from water bottles.
