A 110-megawatt (MW) solar energy facility has been put into operation by Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) in Bikaner, Rajasthan. One critical company in the nation’s renewable energy market is TPREL, a Tata Power subsidiary.
The project is anticipated to produce about 211 million units (MU) of green power and lessen the carbon footprint by 2,58,257 metric tonnes (MT) annually.
The project, according to the company, used 2,59,272 mono-bifacial PERC half-cell modules and was finished in 7 months despite several obstacles, including unfavorable weather, temperatures that reached 50 degrees or higher, the coldest winters ever, sandstorms, and unfavorable geopolitical challenges. This project, supported by a talented team, cutting-edge technology, and knowledgeable leadership, is one of the fastest to be commissioned in Rajasthan.
The 110 MW solar power project would assist Kerala in satisfying its needs for renewable energy. With this addition, TPREL’s total renewable energy capacity will be 6,788 MW, with 4,047 MW installed (solar 3,106 MW and wind 941 MW) and 2,741 MW still being implemented at various levels.
